STOP...
Sometimes gossips simply come to you with unnerving approach. Something that just starts from simple conversations and when you know that the person is crossing the line…you want to zip their mouth when they can’t get your signal that you are not simply interested.
Stories spread rampantly if you are new to the environment. You do not know whether the stories you hear are just urban legends or superficially true. Of course I would want to know a LITTLE background about them. JUST A LITTLE. So I would know some of their likes and dislikes and for me to be able to adjust to different kind of personalities. I am the kind of person who is not interested in probing other people’s lives most especially if it is way TOO personal. Their salaries. Who they’re dating. Who they’ve been or currently involve with. How many girlfriends or boyfriends they have. What kind of affair they have. Who they’re having sex with. And so on and so forth…
Stop telling me about them because I want to know them PERSONALLY and ALL BY MYSELF. I will not be judgemental with regards to their past or present.
I instantly do not trust rumor mongers or people who tell a lot of stories about other people because it only means that you yourself can not entrust them your life or your secrets.
Imagine being the victim on the next run.
By that time you won’t be able to defend yourself.
So just STOP when I tell you to do so because I strongly do not agree to this kind of lifestyle. I don’t want to be talking about other people because I also don’t want to be in their position. I don’t want to be involved in a very degrading conversation and something that I won’t be gaining anything.
Tell me stories about your family, passions in life, dreams, books you read, songs you listen to, movies or shows that you watch and you will find me all ears to your stories…
This is me. SO PLEASE STOP and mind your own business.

Don't follow the yellow lane. Follow your heart.
Don't follow the yellow lane. Follow your heart.
I read this yesterday by Jorge Luis Borges ( iread it in German, but in English you can find many translations of it online - it was originally written in Spanish):
If I could start over my life,
I would make more mistakes in the new one.
Not trying to be perfect, I would just lie on my back.
I would be happy, more than I ever was in my first try,
There would be very few things
That I would do seriously.
Cleanliness would never be a problem.
I would take more risks.
I would travel more.
I would watch the sunrise more often,
I would climb mountains and swim in rivers more often.
I would go see places I didn't see.
I would eat ice cream like crazy, and green beans much less.
I would have real troubles, instead of the imaginary ones.
I used to be striving for efficiency at every moment of my life.
If I could start over, I would only have happy moments.
Do you realize that this is what life is all about?
Moments, only moments. Seize the moment.
I used to go nowhere without water, umbrella and parachutes with me.
If I could start over, I would carry nothing.
If I could start over,
I would throw away my shoes in the Spring.
And I would walk barefoot until the end of Fall.
I would discover hidden paths, enjoy the sun,
And play with the kids, if I had the chance.
But I am 85 and I know...
I am dying...

Unexpected Slap On My Face
Or so I thought that I was really slapped? Well, I am just exaggerating. The feeling’s just the same anyway. I still wanted to cry.
My back up hard disk / firewire broke down and I won’t be able to retrieve my files.
Sometimes, no matter how cautious and careful you are with your work you just can’t get away with surprises. There would really be certain circumstances that will get out of hand and beyond your control.
I wanted to cry because this might affect my work appraisal. That was the very first time in my 4 years working experience. But this is my new job. I am still starting to prove myself…
I just have to wish myself a good luck.
This is not really a good sign.
This is not a good start.

Yellow Plates on Yellow Lane
All the restrictions... all the limitations...
But sometimes you're losing grip...
You want to break free.
I am not perfect.
I am sometimes weak.
Will I still follow the yellow lane?
If I don't...
Will I go astray?

Somewhere Only We Know
This is the song i would like to share. Thanks to my friend who introduced the band and song to me.
Somewhere Only We Know by Keane
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
[break]
Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
So if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
So why don't we go
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?

The Prize of Waiting
And I have already gauged my capacity for a long time with my perseverance and endurance.
What is patience?
This denotes the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint. Patience emphasizes calmness, self-control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay
According to Edward Burke “Our patience will achieve more than our force.” It has given me positive effects in my life. Quite a potent reason for believing and continue hoping that it would work on my future endeavors and decision making.
Circumstances like putitng the white flag down. I almost lost hope but still I patiently waited. When the right time came, I could not almost believe that I have followed the right track and patiently waiting in silence could give me grand consolation on the the friendship I have thought that I would no longer revive.
Another instance is that I couldn’t imagine that I will be given the chance to contribute to the magazine I used to work on layouts before. Since I was a child, I already wanted to do something with great value to me. Something that is so fulfilling. Out of my passion, I dreamt of gaining more experience in writing. I wanted to thank the people who gave me the chance to do so. People who believed in me.
Now I am hoping that I can still work on my creativity. Be given the li’l star to shine and showcase her talent in her own little way. I know I can’t please everybody. I will be experiencing a lot of rejections again. Maybe numerous times. But I am willing to accept. And I believe this will make me a better person. This is a challenge that I want to impose on myself. I am not a quitter. I will patiently wait…
There is always a time for everything because no matter how fervently you like to achieve something, it won’t be yours until it’s time.

Do You Agree?
1. Pick the month of your birth.
2. Bold the 5-10 things that most apply to you
3. Strike out everything that doesn't apply to you.
4. Place the list of all the months under a cut
5. Tag 6 people from your friends list to do the same.
