Lost In Translation.

Dialogue between Bob (Bill Murray) and Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson):

Charlotte: I just don't know what I'm supposed to be.
Bob: You'll figure that out. The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.

What if you already know yourself yet you can’t show the world what you really are? What if you already know what you want but you just couldn’t have it? What if you know who you are and you know what you want but you still get upset because of certain circumstances?

How many people were treated special but suddenly felt taken for granted? How many people cried because they’ve given everything yet they feel unappreciated and the love seemed unreciprocated? How many people wept because after sacrificing so much, things were not yet enough and you will be left wondering what went wrong and why things suddenly turned vague and out of orbit? How many people wondered if they are still being loved when others do not speak nor show what they truly feel inside? Why is there repression? Why is there holding back?

People get lost and misunderstood so many things because of two probable reasons: People argue a lot. They talk too much and don’t bother to listen. Sometimes they can’t hear what the other party is trying to say. The other reason: Sometimes nobody wants to speak / talk and just rely on the person’s actions that send mix signals. Signals which are sometimes hard to comprehend. Signals that often times make you get lost in translation.

Are you one of them? Are you one of us?
